If you're like me or live today in South Carolina or north of South Carolina, it's cold. A friend just shared with me that it's minus 35 degrees in the rural community in Maine where she lives.
Now THAT'S frigid.
In Rock Hill, S.C., this morning it's 20 degrees--cold enough, thank you, for this southern guy.

True, it has been rather cold here in these parts of rural Maine. Children have not been permitted to partake in outdoor recess because the risk of frost bite being too great. Imagine that. The Arctic blast continues and I'm finding that 12 degrees above zero feels warm enough to forego the hat and gloves. Breed them tough we do.
Indeed, you "mainahs" are tough and durable. In S.C., we would all freeze at 12 above zero.
I salute your every fiber!
