Final call for the J.K.R. wizard

Link

Personally, I've never been much into the Harry Potter series of books, but I know lots of people love them, have read all of them, seen the movies...

It's really a rags to riches story for author J.K. Rowling, who began her writing career as a secretary, scribbling notes on a legal pad while she rode the train to and from her job in England.

Look how far she has come today!

Read all of her books. Read the last in less than 24 hours. Though her writing style pales to that of King, I just want to know what happens. Plot, pure plot.

Was fortunate enough to see Rowling this summer at Radio City along with Stephen King and (my all time favorite author) John Irving. Delighted by the fact that Rushdie had the same theories regarding plot as I. She, Rowling, not only squashed his plot devices but mine as well. Good to know I was not alone in thinking/hoping Snape was a pure sole afterall. Alas, he is not. Dumbledore is truly dead or as Rowling said, "he's not pulling a Gandalf."

Guess I forgot how much of a J.K.R. fan you are or have been.

And really neat that you got to see her in person, along with the master of horror--S.K.

You've got some really good writers as role models.

Now it's time for you to write your own novel.
