Never falsify your credentials

It doesn't pay to lie about what sorts of degrees you have earned and where you earned them. Case in point is the recent (and much beloved and previously much respected) dean of admissions at MIT

Yesterday she was caught lying about her educational background; thus she no longer has a job.

That was a big lie. I wonder what prompted her to lie initially and whether she regularly found herself hiding from those who knew her from the past.

My theory as to what prompted her. She had a very good job and she was apparently DOING very well at her job.

Maybe sensed some sort of immunity from being vulerable.

Maybe.
